RIPPLINGER WINS 2011 GOLD IPPY AWARD
Henry K. Ripplinger's debut novel, PEWTER ANGELS, tied for the GOLD MEDAL AWARD for Religious Fiction from Independent Publisher Book Awards (IPPY Awards). Ripplinger, a well-known prairie artist from Lumsden, SK, self-published his debut novel under the name Pio-Seelos Books as the first installment of a six-book series: THE ANGELIC LETTERS SERIES. The award was presented in New York City on Monday, May 23, 2011.
Founded in 1996, the IPPY Awards recognize the best and brightest in Independent Publishing every year. Accepting submissions from across the globe, in 2011 the Awards saw nearly 4000 submissions.
PEWTER ANGELS is an epic saga of love, angels and miracles. Readers soon discover that underlying the love story between Henry Pederson and Jenny Sarsky are insightful life lessons brought to the page and revealed through the characters by Henry's mentor, Mr. Engelmann.
